One Awesome Machine

This has got to be the best vacuum I have ever seen or owned.
My wife and I were so excited about receiving it that we fired it up at 10:00 p.m. to see how well it worked.
We were able to fill the canister after vacuuming only a 5' by 8' area that we had previously used our old vacuum on.
I'm so impressed, I've volunteered to vacuum our entire home until our DC23 can't find more dirt to pull up.
This vacuum is really quiet compared to our old one, so I can't understand why others on here think it is loud.
Very easy assembly and well worth the money we spent. We would recommend this vacuum to anybody.

Great suction power and easy to empty canister....the hose 'kinks' way too easily though and has to be twisted to 'right' it quite often. Also don't like the fact that there is no storage area on the machine itself for the floor tool and it has to be carried around separately.

I have now had this vacuum for 2 years and I love the suction but I do find it hard to change attachments and it isn't neat & tidy to store. The canister is easy to empty and I find it best to do that outside in a garbage can rather than inside......much neater. Power head is not really easy to take apart to clean . It does a good job on carpet and flooring.

I've owned this vacuum for over a year now and it's amazing. It's powerful enough to clean up anything that's on the floor or furniture. I brought it to my parents' house and it picked up everything that their machine didn't when I used the bristle attachment on the carpet. It sits well on the stairs when I'm cleaning all of the steps and it's light enough to carry around and move from one floor to the next. Emptying the unit is easy and it has a hepa filter which I rinse under water and reuse over and over. I'm 6 feet tall and it's long enough for me to use but could be a bit longer. It's definitely worth the money to give yourself a clean place to live.

DC23 canister vacuum

We have had our Dyson for approximately 18 months now. It is terrific!! I can't believe how much dirt and dust we are still getting out of our carpets. It is easy to empty and cleaning the filter is a snap as well. We would buy another Dyson if something ever happened to the one we have now. We have never regretted the purchase of the Dyson vacuum.

Overall our experiences witht the Dyson vacum were excellent. I continues to have incredible suction and pulls amazing amounts of dust out of the carpet. Even when cleaned frequently. We had one issue of the power head having intermittent operation, but the replacement has worked flawlessly.

This is a fantastic machine. The only problem I have with it is in storing. The hose unravels all of the time and ends up taking up too much room in the closet. I wish there was some thing to keep the accessories in neatly besides the box as it is looking worn now. Does anyone out there have any ideals on how to keep the hose in place?

We purchased a Dyson DC23 and cannot believe how fantastic it is. We have lived in our house for two years and the people before us owned a cat. When we brought the vacuum home and used it for the first time we were absolutely amazed at how much cat hair was in the cannister. I have owned many different brands of vacuums and this is by far the best we have ever had. I would purchase another.

I love this little vacuum! It handles easily, and folds away to nothing, in comparison to my old vacuum. It is fairly noisy but it cleans so well that the sound doesn't bother me. I am so happy with Dyson, and have had great assistance from the company itself while I was researching which vacuum to buy, and then later when I had other questions. I would recommend this vacuum and company to everyone, in fact I got my sister to buy one too!
